Electrical Maintenance Engineer - £50,000
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts - 4 On / 4 Off - DAYS
Our client is a leading manufacturer that values hard work, teamwork, and developing people. They are part of a large group with multiple sites in the UK and are looking for an experienced electrical biased shift engineer to join the team.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Carry out planned preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all high-speed production & packaging machinery.
2. Work on control panels, HMI's, PLC's, SCADA Systems.
3. Perform electrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving, and repairs.
4. Participate in continuous improvement projects.
5. Deal with motors, VSD's, servo drives, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, inverters.
6. Mechanical fabrication, fitting, welding.
7. Upkeep and alteration of electrical & mechanical drawings.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Must be an electrically biased engineer.
* NVQ Level 3 electrical engineering or maintenance minimum.
* 17th Edition qualification.
* Experience in fast-paced / manufacturing industry.
* Strong electrical & mechanical problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of PLC's, automation & control systems, HMI's.
* Continuous improvement mentality.
* Willingness to assist in all team areas.
* Experience with motors, inverters, VSD's, sensors, switches, pneumatics, gearboxes.
