About the School
A special needs secondary school in Salford, with a welcoming & supportive team environment, is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their dedicated staff. The school supports young people aged 9-19 with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and other learning differences.

What You'll Be Doing
* Support students 1:1 or in small groups to help them access learning.
* Assist students in managing emotions, building social skills, and developing confidence.
* Implement positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques.
* Work closely with teaching staff to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
* Celebrate student progress and help them achieve personal goals.
What You Need
* Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (at least 3 months).
* A calm, patient, and understanding approach.
* Strong empathy, energy, and a passion for supporting students with SEN to succeed.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a caring team.
