About this role
The Senior Music Manager will be responsible for growing the use of Banijay owned commissioned & library music and encouraging use of Banijay music in the Beacon Library.
Duties
* Provide support & guidance across music usage for selected territories & brands.
* Be point of contact for Opcos using Banijay owned music to ensure they are correctly resourced.
* Responsible for influencing productions to growing usage of Banijay owned music across content output to help drive revenues.
* Responsible for ensuring best practice across the Group in retaining required rights when commissioning new music.
* Work with Banijay's publisher to increase use of Banijay owned music and increase revenues.
* Oversee tracking of production & TX schedule and share with broader team for tracking purposes.
* Work closely with Beacon Music supervisor in preparing practical guides around music for key format productions to increase use of music format packages.
* Collaborate with Beacon Library Manager to identify commissioned score for exploitation via the library, identify production needs and inform library output to ensure it is best serving productions.
* Support Banijay Rights in creating clearable international reversions of series for sales.
* Work with Music Team administrators to ensure prompt accurate music reporting, creation of cue sheets & supporting team initiatives to streamline music reporting procedures across our content.
Essential Experience & Skills
* Degree level qualified
* 5+ years of experience in production and music industry
* Able to operate at a both senior level and switch to hand on operational administrative tasks.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise simultaneously.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Proactive and self-motivated.

Chief Content Officer, Operations.
Contract Type
Permanent, full-time.
Hours
Monday-Friday – 9:30am - 6pm.
Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office).
