This is where you come in…
As a Smart Water Meter Technician, you will be upgrading existing meters to one of our new smart meters, so people can see how and when their water is being used. Since the first meters were installed in 2020, they have helped Anglian Water customers to find and resolve over 100,000 leaks at their properties. You will upgrade and link the new smart meter to the closest mast, then explain to your customer how their new smart meter works. If you can drive, are happy working outdoors, are physically fit and have great customer service skills the answer is probably YES – and we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
* Upgrade existing meters to new smart meters and link them to the closest mast.
* Explain how the smart meter works to customers and how it helps them monitor and manage water usage.
* Work outdoors and travel to customer sites.
Qualifications
* Ability to drive and willingness to work outdoors.
* Physically fit with good customer service skills.
* No previous specific experience required; a great work ethic and willingness to learn are valued.

Hours
Please note the hours for this role: spring/summer – 8 months, 07:30 – 17:30; autumn/winter – 4 months, 07:30 – 16:00.
