Opportunity
We are thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for an individual with a background in building services and maintenance to join our mobile engineering team as the Hard FM Senior Operations Manager. This pivotal role will encompass the entire Greater London region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the management and delivery of Hard Facilities Management (FM) services, ensuring our commitment to quality and engineering excellence.
2. Project manage large-scale initiatives, requiring travel to various sites.
3. Cultivate client relationships and drive business development.
4. Collaborate with the Head of Mobile Solutions to expand Electric Vehicle (EV) and Fire Safety services.
5. Work closely with the team to generate detailed technical reports for clients.
6. Ensure the completion of necessary documentation to maintain client compliance.
7. Maintain a standard 40-hour workweek, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with participation in management call-out rotations.
Skills, qualifications & experience
8. Qualified at the appropriate level in a building services-related discipline, with a strong understanding of CDM (Construction Design and Management).
9. A robust technical background covering gas, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), EV charging, and Solar.
10. Previous experience in a mobile operational role is highly desirable.
11. Demonstrated motivation to introduce innovative solutions and promote digitalisation.
12. A deep understanding of statutory compliance regulations.
13. Proficiency in using a Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system, preferably Maximo.
14. Proven experience managing projects with budgets up to £k.
15. Strong commercial acumen.
16. Comfortable with client interactions, possessing excellent communication skills.
17. A solid background in Health & Safety.
Proficiency in computer literacy, including competent use of MS Office applications.
18. Possession of a full, clean driving license - must be willing to travel to various sites.
19. Ability to obtain DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
