Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for experienced Baggage Handlers to join a well-respected and successful client at Bristol Airport. Start Date:
* 9th February 2026
Key Duties:
* Processing baggage for onward travel, using manual and automated systems.
* Operating specialist equipment within the Baggage Handling Unit.
* Delivering baggage to the aircraft in preparation for loading.
* This is a manual role; you will need to be physically fit and able to repetitively lift and move luggage up to 30KG in weight.
* Please note this role takes place both indoors and outdoors and you will experience all weather conditions.
* Obtain your ADP (Airside Driving Permit) within your initial training where you will be expected to transport luggage airside safely and securely.
Shifts:
The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 5 on 3 off rolling rota. This could be subject to change

Overtime is available
Requirements:
* Full manual driving licence.
* Good attention to detail.
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
* Right to Work in the UK.
* Five years fully checkable reference history.
* Ability to pass Criminal Record Check (CRC)
