Senior Information Analyst
Position: 12 month fixed‑term contract (integrated post offering employment with either NHS Lothian or City of Edinburgh Council).
Role Overview
As Senior Information Analyst you will be a key member of the Data, Analysis and Reporting team (DART), reporting to the DART Team Leader.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality data analysis and performance reporting.
* Lead on the interpretation, analysis and translation of data to inform robust, evidence‑based decision making and performance reporting within the EHSCP.
* Collaborate with colleagues across NHS Lothian, the City of Edinburgh Council and partners.
* Use data analysis skills to provide professional advice and support for team members, senior management and stakeholders.
* Develop solutions to issues, draw conclusions and present findings in accessible ways to inform strategic decision making.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent with strong numerical and statistical experience.
* Proven background interpreting, analysing and presenting complex data to enable evidence-based decisions.
* Knowledge of robust statistical methods and techniques and experience with performance reporting/measurement.
* Proven ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders.
