Summary:
A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Associate or Legal Director to join its London team. The role suits someone with a strong technical grounding, confidence leading transactions, and the ability to contribute to client development and team growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise on a broad range of UK and international corporate tax matters, including share and asset acquisitions, group reorganisations, joint ventures, restructurings, and financing transactions.
* Support corporate, real estate, funds, and financial services teams with tax structuring and transactional planning.
* Lead on drafting and negotiating tax aspects of transactional documents (SPAs, tax covenants, warranties, structuring papers, etc.).
* Manage relationships with clients, including private companies, multinationals, investment funds, and financial institutions.
* Provide thought leadership on evolving tax legislation, HMRC practice, and market trends.
* Contribute to business development initiatives, including pitching, client training, and cross-practice collaboration.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members and support growth of the tax practice.
