Senior Nursery Practitioner – Up to £35,300 | 42.5 Hours per week, all year round

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our client’s nursery on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, knowledgeable early years professional ready to take on more responsibility — supporting the Room Leader, mentoring colleagues, and ensuring high-quality practice across the room.
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years or equivalent (essential)
* Significant experience in a nursery or early years setting
* Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
* Proven ability to lead, support, and inspire a team
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A nurturing, reflective, and proactive approach to practice
* Passion for outdoor learning and nature-based play

Key Responsibilities:
* Support and guide practitioners in delivering high-quality, child-led learning experiences
* Take an active role in planning, observing, and assessing children’s development
* Foster strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the wider team
* Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment at all times
* Assist the Room Leader in maintaining high standards of care and practice
* Model and promote best practice in line with EYFS and safeguarding policies
* Contribute to continuous improvement and reflective practice across the setting
