Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. Your organisational skills and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to a positive experience for our patients and ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice.
Responsibilities
* Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
* Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
* Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as required.
* Provide chairside support during dental procedures, including taking notes and managing instruments.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
* Manage appointment scheduling, confirming patient visits, and follow-up appointments.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.
Skills
* Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
* Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Proficient IT skills for maintaining patient records and using dental software applications.
* Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members.
