If you value excellent workmanship, attention to detail, and getting the job done right first time, we'd love to hear from you.About the roleAs a Multi Skilled Plumber within our Planned Team (Bathrooms), you'll deliver high-quality bathroom refurbishments across occupied and void homes, using your plumbing and multi-trade skills to deliver work to an exceptional standard.Working independently and as part of a team, you'll carry out work to a high standard while delivering an excellent customer experience. This is a varied, field-based role for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, values quality and enjoys making a difference in customers' homes every day.What we're looking forWe're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Multi Skilled Plumber who sharesour values and takes real pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and positive outcomes for customers in their homes:Customer DrivenYou understand the importance of delivering a great customer experience, working respectfully in occupied homes and ensuring every refurbishment is completed to a high standard.AccountabilityYou take ownership of your work, managing your workload effectively, working safely and delivering quality repairs and refurbishments within agreed timescales.Develop & LearnYou're committed to maintaining high trade standards, keeping up to date with industry best practice and continually improving the quality of your work.Champion CommunicationYou communicate confidently and professionally with customers, colleagues and the wider team to ensure work is delivered smoothly and efficiently.You'll bringNVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds in Plumbing, or equivalent demonstrable experienceExperience delivering bathroom refurbishments and working across a range of trades including tiling, patch plastering, flooring, carpentry or decoratingExperience working within occupied homes, social housing or domestic propertiesA full UK driving licence and willingness to participate in the out of hours rotaA commitment to Equality and DiversityPre employment requirementsThe successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic DBS check, a Right to Work check, and a DVLA licence check.Working hoursYou will be required to be on site and ready to start at 08:00, working through to 17:00 with a one hour unpaid lunch break.Why join Selwood Housing?At Selwood Housing, we believe everyone deserves a safe, secure and affordable place to call home.
