Job Title: PCB Design Engineer
Contract: Inside IR35
Duration: 12:month contract
Location: Bristol (On:Site)
Responsibilities
:Creation and management of schematic and footprint libraries
:Generation and version control of Bills of Materials (BOMs)
:Liaison with procurement and manufacturing operations teams regarding new, end:of:life, and obsolete components
:Creation of PCB manufacturing and assembly data packs
:PCB supplier liaison and management
:PCB layout for development and production designs
Experience and Requirements
:Schematic and layout component part library creation and management
:Creation of footprints suitable for multi:sourced components
:Development of in:house design constraints compatible with multiple assembly house rules
:Proficiency with Mentor or Xpedition design flows (schematic capture, design constraints, PCB layout)
:Knowledge of HDI stack:ups, via structures, and controlled:impedance routing
:Strong understanding of EMC:aware layout and mitigation of crosstalk and interference
