As we continue to expand and develop as a leading Trauma Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Emergency Nurse who can rise to the challenges of this fast-paced setting, providing both clinical and managerial leadership. You will lead a designated clinical area—majors, minors, and resus—as well as take on managerial responsibilities.
Main duties of the job
You will need to demonstrate drive, commitment, and strong leadership skills, delivering excellent patient-centred care.
You should have proven clinical ability in A&E, with substantial experience at Band 5 or above; be capable of managing all aspects of the ED daily, including flow and capacity; and possess leadership qualities to motivate the team towards Trust goals.
If you are a knowledgeable and skilled practitioner currently working in emergency care, with significant ED experience at Band 5, this could be the role for you.
Ideally, you will have the following qualifications: a first-level degree, a mentorship qualification, and TNCC or ATNC provider status. You will need to evidence your achievements and development plans through a professional portfolio, which will be reviewed during the selection process.
