We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Motor Vehicle Maintenance Teacher to join our Special Educational Needs (SEN) school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motor vehicle maintenance and the ability to inspire and support students with a range of special educational needs. The role involves teaching practical and theoretical aspects of motor vehicle maintenance, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and ensuring that students gain the necessary skills to pursue vocational qualifications and careers in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:Teaching and Learning:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in motor vehicle maintenance to students with a variety of learning needs.
* Provide both theoretical and practical instruction in topics such as vehicle servicing, repair techniques, diagnostic procedures, and basic mechanical skills.
* Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of students, ensuring that all students have an opportunity to succeed.
* Use a range of teaching strategies, including visual aids, hands-on demonstrations, and technology, to enhance learning.
* Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback, helping students set realistic goals and monitor their progress.
* Prepare students for external qualifications (e.g., BTEC, City & Guilds) and ensure they meet the necessary standards.
