Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in the region, the key requirements include:

* 3rd level Building Services / Mechanical Engineering degree and/or trade background
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a site-based MEP role
* Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team

Key responsibilities:

* Ensure Mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing the health and safety of all stakeholders.
* Lead by example, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of company-specific health & safety policies and procedures, integrating safety into all discussions.
* Be fully aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out).
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of project Mechanical systems and track installation progress to ensure compliance with specifications and schedule.
* Understand project-specific commissioning requirements and assist in developing Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs).
* Conduct site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP & CSA works to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
* Coordinate that areas meet CSA and MEP quality standards for advanced beneficial use, aligned with the master construction program.
* Provide stakeholders with sufficient information to facilitate system installation and progress in line with the construction schedule.
* Ensure contractors and vendors are adequately resourced to complete their works successfully.
* Review the master construction schedule to identify opportunities for sequencing and focus on work faces to enhance program delivery.
* Chair and contribute to onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders.
* Issue weekly progress and cost reports as required.
* Manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress and manpower levels.
* Review and ensure that system mechanical stakeholders produce necessary documents, including construction and commissioning programs, work execution trackers, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover packs.
