Refurbished in recent years, inside you will find four rooms carefully designed with age-appropriate resources to aid the learning and development of our children. Outside, we are surrounded by extensive and secure grounds offering all age groups an area for physical activities. The garden includes a mini woodland nature walk and growing area to give children the opportunity to further explore and extend their play. St Nicholas Nursery is situated on Eastwick Row in Hemel Hempstead, just off of the Bennetts End roundabout that joins to the Adeyfield area. There are strong transport links to the M25, M1, the local industrial estate and the A414. There is ample parking for staff. What being a Nursery Room Leader involves As a Nursery Room Leader, you will work alongside the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire your team while delivering exceptional care and education. Key responsibilities include: • Leading and mentoring the team to provide high-quality early years education with passion and energy. • Supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent quality. • Acting as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care. • Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support the best outcomes for children. • Overseeing the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning opportunities. • Taking charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Manager’s absence. • Encouraging continuous improvement through feedback and supporting professional development. • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each child’s needs.
