Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher – SEMH Provision
Location: Wigan
Pay: £800 - 1100 per week (long-term roles paid to scale)
Start Date: April 2026 | Full-time role available daily supply options
Vision for Education is looking for a flexible and committed Primary Supply Teacher to support a welcoming SEMH primary school which has a supportive staff team and well – structured classrooms. This school supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs through a structured approach, where strong relationships, consistency and adaptable teaching styles help young people make real progress and succeed.
There is a full-time teaching role available from April 2026, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable, longer-term position. We also receive regular day-to-day supply bookings from this school, so the role can suit teachers who prefer flexible daily work as well.
This position would suit qualified teachers, ECTs, or experienced supply teachers who enjoy working across primary environments with strong SEMH experience and want either consistent supply work or the chance to move into a longer-term role.
What you’ll do
1. Deliver lessons to children with Special Educational Needs.
2. Step into different classes and keep learning running smoothly.
3. Follow school routines and manage behaviour positively.
4. Work with teaching assistants and staff to support pupils.
What we’re looking for
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS.
6. Recent experience teaching in a primary school with experience supporting in SEMH environments
7. Confidence working across different year groups.
8. A reliable, flexible approach and good classroom management.
