Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in investment banking or financial services to lead trading control improvements within SLB. The role involves close collaboration with RAC, Front Office, PPT, Risk, and Compliance teams to embed governance, controls, and regulatory standards effectively. The successful candidate will report on project progress, risks, and key deliverables to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish project governance, including documentation and presentations, serving as PMO and main contact.
2. Lead implementation of trading control enhancements ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk standards.
3. Support the development and maintenance of governance frameworks, control standards, and monitoring processes across Front Office and Middle/Back Office.
4. Collaborate with RAC, traders, risk teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure effective control implementation.
5. Review and improve control standards and definitions in conjunction with Non-Financial Risk (NFR).
6. Maintain a trading control inventory.
7. Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and milestones, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and best practices.
8. Assist BAU teams in producing documentation and training materials.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within investment banking or financial services.
* Strong knowledge of trading control frameworks and experience in control improvements.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with RAC, Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Compliance teams.
* Understanding of UK regulatory frameworks related to trading controls.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially with senior management.
* Experience in governance, risk, and control implementation.
* Strong problem-solving skills and initiative in process improvements.
