Job Overview / Introduction
As our business grows, we need experienced data analysts and cost modelers to deliver operational solutions at the pace, scale, and quality our clients expect. This role will report to a Consulting Manager and provide independent expert insights, build decision‑support products and cost models, and support senior client teams.
Primary Roles And Responsibilities
* Understand and help project teams apply analytical methods, advise on techniques and critique findings to ensure best practice.
* Build and review complex data models, use data integration tools and languages to integrate and store data, and advise teams on best practice.
* Apply standards and best practices to present, communicate, and disseminate data using visualisation tools.
* Advocate data governance standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
* Use statistical and analytical practices to deliver insights.
* Support the wider engagement team in delivering consulting outputs and outcomes.
* Ensure high client satisfaction through stakeholder management, communication and timely delivery of milestones.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, establishing a trusted advisor reputation.
People Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for personal development and stay current with delivery techniques.
* Foster knowledge sharing and best practices across the business.
* Lead, coach and mentor team members.
* Contribute to effective teamwork in an inclusive culture.

* Support development of capabilities, products, and services.
* Share knowledge of data and technology with the wider team and external stakeholders.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
* Support thought‑leadership initiatives such as articles and white papers.
* Adhere to Squarcle policies and processes.
Secondary Roles and Responsibilities
* Commit to continuous development by supporting team events, training sessions, and recruitment activities.
* Perform other duties as specified by the Manager.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience (Essential)
* Three years or more designing and delivering analytical and digital solutions.
* Strong data modelling and analysis skills with critical thinking and innovation.
* Well‑developed core consulting skills and adaptability.
* Intellectual curiosity, excellent people skills and a strong work ethic.
* Self‑directed and a core team contributor.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Suite – Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* BSc/BA in a numerate or analytical field or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience (Desirable)
* Previous experience in a recognised management or internal consulting role.
* Low‑code technology experience (e.g., Microsoft PowerApps).
* Cloud technology qualifications (AWS/Azure preferred).
* Understanding of Aerospace & Defence, MOD, Nuclear or Infrastructure markets.
