Consultant Anaesthetist w/ interest in Obstetrics
We are looking to appoint a full-time Consultant Anaesthetist with interest in obstetrics. The job plan comprises of a weekly average of 7.6 PAs of clinical work spread over specialties, 1.4 PAs for on call and 1.5 SPAs. Further job plan details can be found within the job description.
* Deliver and maintain highest clinical standards in the specialty of anaesthesia and emergency obstetrics
* Play an active role in clinical governance and audit, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and learning
* Maintain high standards of continuing professional development and medical education
* Deliver quality teaching and training
* To teach and mentor trainees.
* To contribute to quality improvement; risk management initiatives and policy development so that the overall Anaesthesia Service is of the highest quality and reflective of best practice.
* To participate in work related projects.
* To adhere to Hospital Policies and Procedures.
* To comply with Health and Safety Regulations, ensuring safe working practices in a safe working environment

* oEvidence of a good standard of written English appropriate to the role
