Overview
This is an exciting time to be joining the Estates and Facilities Department at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Trust (NCA) as a Security Officer. We now have a vacancy working as part of a team based at Royal Oldham Hospital. Hours are 37.5 per week / pro rata - 12 hour shifts working days, nights & weekends on a 4 on 4 off rota.
This role involves providing security around the hospital, patrolling, lock ups and unlocks of buildings, attending security related incidents and dealing with traffic management duties.
Responsibilities
* Provide security patrols and ensure the safety and security of hospital sites.
* Carry out lock ups and unlocks of buildings as required.
* Attend and respond to security-related incidents in a professional manner.
* Manage traffic and assist with related duties as needed.
* Follow set procedures and standards, using a degree of initiative while maintaining a professional approach.
* Work across all of the Northern Care Alliance Care Organisations if required.
