Job Title: Senior Theatre Practitioner – Scrub Location: Maidstone, UK Salary: Competitive Annual Salary Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)
We are on the hunt for a skilled Senior Theatre Practitioner – Scrub to join our vibrant team in Maidstone. You will work 40 hours a week on a permanent contract, spread over four days from Monday to Saturday, with occasional Saturday shifts once a month.

What you will do:
Serve as a scrub practitioner for general and orthopaedic surgeries
Lead and mentor junior team members and take charge in the absence of the Lead Theatre Practitioner
Facilitate communication between departments such as Sterile Services, Wards, and Imaging to ensure seamless patient care
Prepare operating and anaesthetic rooms for various procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources
Assess patient care requirements, implement care plans, and evaluate their outcomes
What we are looking for:
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner at KIMS Hospital, you should be focused on patient care with strong team-building skills and a cooperative approach to achieving objectives.
Essential:
Registered Practitioner (RN or ODP)
Proficient in managing surgical lists
Experience in planning, organising, and running theatre suite lists
Experience supervising staff and scheduling operating lists
Desirable:
Post-registration qualifications as Practice Supervisor or Assessor
Post-registration qualification as Surgical First Assistant
Clinical experience in perioperative environments, both in Scrub and Anaesthetics, within acute settings in NHS or Private hospitals
