About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Maths Lecturer to deliver high‑quality teaching and inspire learners to achieve their full potential. You will play a key role in planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons across relevant levels (e.g., GCSE, A‑Level, or equivalent)
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Develop lesson plans and teaching materials in line with curriculum requirements
* Support students in achieving academic goals and improving confidence in mathematics
* Provide additional support through tutorials, revision sessions, and intervention strategies
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement
* Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) – desirable/essential depending on role
* Experience teaching mathematics in a school, college, or higher‑education setting
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching maths
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Desirable Skills
* Experience teaching Functional Skills, GCSE, or A‑Level Maths
* Familiarity with different teaching methods to support diverse learners
* Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning
* Experience supporting students with additional learning needs
