Our client is looking for a Technical Writer with banking experience for one of their customers on a 12‑month initial contract with travel to site in Knutsford twice a week and rest working from home. This role would require working through an umbrella company.
This role requires a skilled Technical Writer capable of creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for our products, services, and internal processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, the ability to understand complex technical concepts, and experience translating technical information into user‑friendly content for various audiences.
Required Skills and Experience
* Experience in technical writing, preferably in software or technology industries
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail
* Strong ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them clearly
* Experience with documentation tools and content management systems
* Familiarity with markup languages (HTML, Markdown, etc.)
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience working in Agile development environments
* Banking/Finance sector experience
