The Opportunity & Role Profile This large independent school, set across extensive grounds, requires a strategic Facilities Manager for a key part-time role focused on compliance and strategic planning. The school needs an expert capable of managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and overseeing external contractor management. Core Responsibilities & Scope Strategic Planner: Developing and implementing long-term Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategies for the estate. Contract Coordinator: Negotiating, monitoring, and managing relationships with all external service contractors (e.g., grounds, catering). Compliance Controller: Full accountability for all statutory and regulatory compliance (Fire, Water, Asbestos) on scheduled working days.
