Vision for Education are recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist setting in Burnley from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role. Pay is £450–£550 per week depending on experience. About the role Are you looking to support a specific child with SEND on a 1:1 basis? You will provide targeted support to a pupil with ASC and sensory needs, helping them access learning and engage in school life. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to tailor strategies to the pupil’s EHCP. About the school The school provides a highly supportive learning environment for children with a range of needs including autism, ADHD and sensory processing disorders. Staff are collaborative and dedicated to pupil development. Permanent opportunities may arise following a successful placement. Requirements Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly autism. Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent. Positive and proactive approach. Understanding of sensory strategies and differentiation.
