A school that specialises in accommodating children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs are looking for Teaching Assistants to support children with behavioural and mental health issues.
* Working with SEN students aged 4 to 11 to support their wellbeing and personal development.
* Work alongside the therapists and psychologists based on-site at school
* Build frontline, practical experience with young people with significant SEMH needs
* Gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs such as Autism and ADHD.
The right candidate
* Graduates who have qualified in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology OR a good education background (GCSE’s in Maths and English) plus prior experience as a Teaching Assistant for children with mental health issues
* Enthusiastic and passionate about making a different in the lives of children with SEMH
* Resilient and confident to work with challenging behaviour
