Swansea, Wales, SA7 9FQ Job Summary We are looking for great candidates to join us at HM Land Registry as Executive Registration Officers in our Service Delivery Directorate. At HM Land Registry, we play a vital role in supporting the property market and safeguarding land and property ownership across England and Wales. Our product is the Land Register – the official record of who owns what land. Covering over 90% of the land area, it reflects property ownership worth nearly £9 trillion, with around £1.66 trillion of lending secured against it. Job Description Executive Registration Officers are key to delivery for our customers within casework teams. After comprehensive training from our award-winning Academy, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of Land Registration casework activities. You’ll have ongoing opportunities to develop your skills, share knowledge, and provide outstanding service to our customers. The role combines administrative tasks with technical judgement, and as emerging technologies reduce routine work, you will increasingly be required to exercise your technical judgement and decision making. Some positions may include requirement for you to have line management responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to lead, support and develop a small team to drive high performing teams. Person specification We’re looking for someone with effective organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively, paired with a collaborative communication style that seeks positive solutions. You’ll have a talent for coaching, mentoring, and developing others, while demonstrating excellent attention to detail and sound decision-making based on evidence. The role also requires the ability to motivate and engage individuals toward shared goals and, where applicable, handle sensitive or personal issues calmly and constructively. Additional Information There is an occasional need for the post holder to be able to accommodate flexible working hours to meet operational demands. There may also be an occasional requirement to travel to participate in workshops and other activities that are relevant to the role or own personal development. Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
