We are seeking a committed and experiencedConsultant Psychiatristto join an established mental health provider inManchester, supporting bothAcuteandRehabilitation Psychiatryservices. As aPsychiatrist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat adults with a range of complex mental health conditions. Working collaboratively within amultidisciplinary team (MDT), youll provide holistic, person-centred care and play a key role in service development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead acute and rehab ward rounds, risk reviews, and strategic planning meetings.
* Provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and care planning.
* Act as theResponsible Clinician (RC)under theMental Health Act 1983.
* Oversee referrals, admissions, and pre-admission assessments.
* Deliver leadership and supervision to the MDT.
* Foster a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-orientated environment.
* Contribute to continuous quality improvement and clinical governance.
