We’re looking for a talented Insurance Advisor to use their knowledge and experience in the Insurance Industry to build strong, trusted, and profitable client relationships. This role can be based in our Haverhill or Norwich offices.
Role Overview: This position is ideal if you enjoy fostering relationships and providing comprehensive service to commercial clients to find suitable insurance products. Your responsibilities include quoting, placing cover, managing renewals, mid-term adjustments, broking client requirements, and supporting Account Executives.
You will manage a busy client book across various business sectors and may include client visits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support your Account Executive in managing client accounts.
* Ensure accuracy and professionalism in dealings with clients and insurers, including:
o New business
o Renewals
o Mid-term adjustments
o Queries
o Premium financing
o Cover notes
* Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and company procedures.
* Handle complaints per company and regulatory standards.
* Engage in training and development activities.
* Provide excellent customer service and build professional client relationships.
* Manage client diaries effectively.
* Promote in-house premium finance schemes.
Required Experience:
Some insurance experience, ideally in a broking environment and within commercial lines. Experience with Open GI and relevant qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory, as training is provided.
