Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Birmingham for a Field Care Supervisor. The Field Care Supervisor will oversee the delivery of excellent home care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising and supporting care staff, conducting assessments and evaluations, ensuring care plans are implemented effectively, and maintaining relationships with service users and their families. The role also involves conducting quality monitoring visits and assisting with staff development through training and mentorship programs.
Qualifications
* Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a care team.
* Experience in conducting assessments, creating care plans, and monitoring service quality.
* Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to interact effectively with service users, families, and staff.
* Familiarity with regulations and standards in the health and social care sector, including a commitment to person-centered care.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, as well as attention to detail.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is required; a higher-level qualification is advantageous.
* Flexibility in working patterns to meet the needs of the service and its users.
* A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for travel to service users and team locations.
