We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to our Executive Directors and Trust Secretariat. You will have proven experience as a PA or EA at director/senior manager level, with excellent organisational and IT skills, the ability to prioritise effectively, and confidence in working under pressure to tight deadlines.
You will take responsibility for managing all aspects of Board and committee-level meetings, including agenda planning, accurate minute taking and action tracking. Additional duties include complex diary management, liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the smooth and professional running of the Corporate Secretariat.
Reporting to the Deputy Company Secretary, you will work as part of a supportive and high-performing team and may be asked to provide cover for other Directors when required.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high calibre, comprehensive secretarial service, executive and administrative support to an executive director.
To provide all aspects of administration to trust board committees, sub committee, or groups within the trust as identified by the trust secretary.
The post-holder is required to manage their day-to-day workload and use their initiative without supervision which will require informed judgement, excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise competing demands.
The post contains a range of duties and the majority of the work is undertaken at the post holder's own initiative. This role involves dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information.
To ensure the director is comprehensively briefed on all matters of importance but protected from inappropriate matters and problems.

Person Specification
Education / Qualifications and relevant experience
* Experience of all aspects of board / committee meeting administration including; agenda planning and distribution of papers and minute taking skills.
* Degree level and/or relevant work experience.
Skills and Aptitude
* Proven excellent administration and organisation skills
Knowledge and abilities
* Ability to communicate (both verbally and otherwise) with executive and non executive directors; governors and staff at all levels across the trust
