Social Infrastructure - Our team of Social Infrastructure specialists revitalise homes and communities by carrying out a wide range of work, from retrofit to refurbishment, and maintenance.
Job Description
We are looking for an apprentice to join our Social Value Team in our Social Infrastructure business.

As an Apprentice at United Infrastructure you will learn something new every day and develop your skills and knowledge in the construction industry in a supportive environment with an approachable team. Day to day you will develop your skills and experience to enable you to assist the Social Value team with community, client and resident engagement initiatives coupled with coordinating and delivering local employment and training opportunities. Some of your key responsibilities will include supporting the team with:
* Delivery of work experience opportunities in line with our client commitments
* Delivery of school engagement including attending careers events and employment related workshops
* Preparing case studies for submission to the marketing team
* Promoting our apprenticeship opportunities working in partnership with HR and Client’/Sub-Contractors as required
* Maintaining and update internal promotional boards, to provide staff with Community activity information
* Maintaining a calendar of events that is published internally
* Producing documents such as monthly reports, quarterly newsletters
* Supporting colleagues in the planning, preparation and delivery of community events and initiatives
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto the Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability apprenticeship qualification with one of our training partners. You will be fully supported through a variety of methods such as remotely taught classroom sessions, learning materials, and one-to-one support from your tutor or coach. They will also meet regularly with you and your line manager to ensure you are progressing through your programme.
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, we would like you to have:
* Minimum of English and Maths GCSE at grade 9-4/A*-C or equivalent qualification e.g. functional skill
* Level 3 business qualification e.g. A-Level, T-Level, Apprenticeship etc.
* Full driving licence (preferred)
* Good communication skills
* Good people skills (this role requires a lot of interaction with people from all walks of life and at all levels)
* Passionate about the impact of Social Value and Community activity
You must also be available to start full-time work by July 2026 at the latest and have:
* The commitment to live and breathe our company values during your work and studies.
* The motivation and dedication to successfully complete your apprenticeship programme.
