Job overview You will join an evolving service and be a part of a supportive and caring team. The Team consists of the following- Clinical Lead, Team Coordinator, Office Manager, Admin, Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists, Highly Specialist Autism Assessors, Specialist Autism Assessors, Autism Assessors, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Assistant Practitioners. This post can be a B5 to B6 development post if you do not have the relevant diagnostic qualifications or experience. You will work alongside the MDT to undertake Autism Diagnostic Assessments, triage reviews and support with onward referrals and singposting dependant on the outcome of an indivduals assessment. You will work alongside our post diagnostic service and support newly diagnosed individuals to understand the role of the service and offer support where needed in referring to / accessing the post diagnostic service. Advert To provide specialist assessment and differential diagnoses to adults referred into the service both independently (with MDT support) and in conjunction with another assessor. Maintain an active and ever-changing caseload, along with meeting set targets and deadlines for both assessments and report writing. Provide a high standard of clinical care to those accessing the service and to work within the recommended guidance both nationally and locally. Review referral triages and rate the level of risk, adding individuals to the teams waiting list for assessment. Work collaboratively within the wider MDT, discussing triages and assessments and agreeing on outcomes and next steps.
