Internal Sales Executive
Location: Barnsley – Office Based
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus

The Role:
You'll be the first point of contact for customer and contractor enquiries, preparing accurate and competitive quotes, and working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery. You'll also support Regional Contractor Managers, strengthen partnerships with merchants, and proactively identify new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of an Internal Sales Executive:
* Identifying and exploring new business opportunities
* Responding promptly and professionally to enquiries via phone and email
* Preparing and sending accurate project quotes
* Collaborating with technical, customer service and supply chain teams
* Supporting general enquiries from the merchant network
* Tracking and following up quotations to maximise conversions
* Building strong relationships with regional contractors and sub-contractors
* Supporting Regional Contractor Managers with admin and coordination tasks
Requirements of an Internal Sales Executive:
* Strong relationship management and communication skills
* Experience within construction or building products would be preferred
* Commercially minded with a track record of achieving results
* Proactive and self-motivated, with a focus on growth and opportunity
* CRM experience
* Willingness to continuously learn and develop product knowledge
