Job Title: Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor\nLocation: Swindon (SN5)\nReports To: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager\nJob Type: Full-Time\n\nHours of work:\n\n37.5 hours per week, 20:00 - 06:00 (Monday to Wednesday), 20:00 - 05:30 (Thursday)\n\nSalary:\n\n£28,003.34 per annum plus night shift premium (approx. £5,720 per annum) = £33,720.\n\nJob Summary:\n\nWe are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations on a night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient storage, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and team leadership.
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining productivity, safety and accuracy in warehouse processes while being committed to continuous improvement of daily operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.\n\n * \n\n Ensure timely and accurate receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.\n\n * \n\n Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock counts to minimize discrepancies.\n\n * \n\n Implement and maintain safety procedures in compliance with company policies.\n\n * \n\n Optimize warehouse layout and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.\n\n * \n\n Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure all equipment is maintained properly.\n\n * \n\n Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless operations.\n\n * \n\n Generate and analyze warehouse reports related to inventory, productivity, and safety.\n\n * \n\n Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing inventory.\n\n * \n\n Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.\n\nQualifications:\n\n * \n\n Experience within a supervisory role within warehouse logistics, preferably with previous exposure to inbound and night shift operations.\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control systems, and logistics software.\n\n * \n\n Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.\n\n * \n\n Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\n * \n\n Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\n\n * \n\n Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft office and Excel.\n\nPersonal Skills and Traits:\n\n * Ability to uphold the highest standards of health and safety.\n\n * Capability to implement continuous process improvements.\n\n * Good attention to detail.\n\n * Strong people management skills.\n\n * Excellent organizational skills.\n\n * Strong leadership qualities.\n\nBenefits:\n\nBenefits package including initial holiday accrual of 24 days, increasing to 30 days plus bank holidays, a buy and sell holiday scheme, attendance bonus, pention scheme, EV, tech and cycle to work salary sacrifice, Bupa health cash plan and life assurance
