An opportunity has arisen to join our team in Conwy and improve the health and wellbeing of the local community by implementing the Shared Prosperity Funds as a Woodland Wellbeing Project Officer. This post is 2.5 days a week with a fixed term contract until December 2024, dependent on funding. Job purpose To coordinate programmes of woodland health activities in the local project area. To disseminate expertise and knowledge among Leaders and stakeholders through coordinating project meetings, training events and conferences, locally. To raise the profile of the organisation through project publicity, promotion and outreach including website/social media publicity for the local area. To work with local partners to support and add value to existing woodland-based projects. Identify key local woodlands and nature sites which are either already being used for wellbeing activity groups or have the potential to be improved and used. To work with the coordinator and project team to meet the funding requirements of the project including project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation and attending project meetings. Develop the partnership between the Golygfa Gwydyr and Coed Lleol and build on green skills provision in Conwy together.
