The Role
As a Garden Leisure and Christmas General Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the team to present products to the highest standards with knowledge, creativity, and an approachable manner. This is a hands‑on and varied position where your confidence, energy, and initiative will be valued every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service to customers.
* Comfortably approach customers and fully engage to find out their needs.
* Support stock management, ensuring products are replenished, presented and priced whilst helping maintain an accurate stock file.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and visually appealing retail environment.
* Work independently and as part of a team, adapting to the needs of the business.
* Assist with seasonal events, promotions, and point‑of‑sale materials.
The Ideal Candidate
* Enthusiastic and customer‑focused, with a passion for seasonal products and garden leisure.
* Confident and able to work on their own initiative.
* Flexible, positive, and reliable – weekend and weekday availability required.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
* Retail or garden centre experience is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided.
