We are looking to strengthen our IFS Cloud ERP team with a Technical Lead based at Hattersley Greater Manchester with hybrid working available.
You will report directly to the ERP Systems Manager and your role will cover the support and development of our IFS Cloud ERP application and other core business applications with the assistance of the Senior Technician for applications support.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Provides 2nd and 3rd line support for the ERP system (IFS) and other core business applications.
2. IFS Cloud installation and configuration.
3. Installation and testing IFS releases and service updates.
4. Creating and customisation of IFS Cloud custom: objects, fields, logical units, pages, tabs, events, lobbies, triggers, SQL reports, permission sets, projections.
5. Creation and installation of custom API’s.
6. Creation of quick, Crystal reports and Business Reporter.
7. Data migration.
8. Troubleshoots and resolves application related problems and incidents.
9. Provides system specifications, support documentation and facilitates systems testing.
10. Manages and carries out deployments across different environments (Dev, Test, Prod) in accordance with the company change management process.
11. Works collaboratively with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
12. Designs and develops solutions that satisfy business requirements and deliver measurable business benefits.
13. Works with software owners, vendors, and support partners to gain product roadmap awareness, seek technical support and guidance and understand product developments/ new technologies.
14. Makes recommendations for business improvements that can be achieved through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
15. Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
16. Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
17. Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
