Service Support Coordinator

Hours: Monday Friday, 08:30 17:00

Location: Gillingham, Kent

Salary Range: £26,000 - £28,000 depending on experience

Contract type: Permanent

Were looking for a proactive and organised Service Support Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and operational support. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic service department where your contributions will directly impact client satisfaction and the smooth running of our operations.

What you will be doing

As a Service Support Coordinator, you'll be the backbone of our service team, ensuring continuity and efficiency in our day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing cover for Account Handlers, maintaining strong client relationships in their absence.
* Coordinating planned maintenance and remedial works with clients and engineers.
* Ensuring all works are delivered within KPI deadlines and are financially and commercially sound.
* Preparing risk assessments and method statements for planned maintenance.
* Responding to emergency call-outs within agreed KPIs.
* Handling client enquiries promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
* Managing administrative tasks such as data entry, job bookings, and communication via email and phone.
* Processing paperwork including worksheets and purchase orders in line with ISO procedures.
* Supporting the wider service team and stepping in where needed to ensure seamless service delivery.

* Excellent written, verbal, and numerical skills with a confident telephone manner.
* A background in customer service, ideally within a technical or service-based industry.
* A good understanding of financial processes such as budgeting and job costing.
* A willingness to learn industry-specific compliance and regulations.
* A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
* High levels of integrity, empathy, and resilience.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
* A keen eye for detail and a sense of urgency when managing competing priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
