Join Network Rail. We are dedicated to keeping passengers and freight moving safely and efficiently across the country. This role involves working on major property activity across a national infrastructure estate, with senior level involvement in negotiations and strategic advice to support business performance and safety.
Responsibilities
* Reviewing and progressing new requests from external parties to use Network Rail land
* Working with colleagues in engineering, safety, legal and finance to resolve issues and keep projects moving
* Providing commercial and technical advice on property matters, including leases, licences and easements
* Supporting governance and assurance activities to ensure decisions are robust and aligned with policy and regulatory requirements
* Participating in meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to negotiate and unblock complex issues
Note: The role is primarily office-based in Milton Keynes, with regular opportunities for site visits across the country.

Required Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
* MRICS qualification
* Broad background in General Practice surveying
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Proven negotiation skills at senior level
* Experience in managing complex property transactions
* Experience in stakeholder management
* Strong presentation skills
