Our client, a leading multi-academy organisation, is hiring a Head of IT to lead a pivotal phase of digital transformation across a growing and high-performing education group.
This role offers the opportunity to build and shape a modern, scalable IT function that directly supports teaching, learning and operational excellence across multiple sites. You’ll play a key role in delivering a forward-thinking digital strategy aligned to long-term growth and innovation.
With over 5,000 users and a strong track record of performance, the organisation is now investing heavily in digital capability, infrastructure and innovation to support its next stage of growth.
What you’ll do
Lead and deliver a trust-wide IT and digital strategy
Ensure secure, reliable and high-performing infrastructure and systems
Oversee cyber security, compliance and digital risk
Build, lead and develop a high-performing IT team
Drive innovation and establish a scalable, future-ready service model
You’ll work closely with senior leadership, school leaders and central teams to ensure technology enables outstanding outcomes across the organisation.
What we’re looking for
Proven leadership of IT / digital services in a complex, multi-site environment
Strong technical background across infrastructure, cloud and end-user computing
Experience delivering digital strategy and transformation at scale
Knowledge of cyber security, compliance and risk management
Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision with hands-on delivery capability, strong communication skills, and a passion for using technology to drive meaningful impact. You’ll enjoy working in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.
