We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Clinical Specialist Neurodevelopmental Nurse on a permanent basis to join our caring and progressive team in Coxheath.
You will work as part of a close-knit team dedicated to the health and wellbeing of people in Coxheath. Maidstone serves a diverse patient group with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate assessment and management of children and young people referred for assessment, ensuring quality care using Trust policies, guidelines, and care pathways.
2. Support diagnostic assessments undertaken by medical staff.
3. Assess for clinical prioritisation and develop robust care plans.
4. Regularly evaluate services for children/young people affected by neuro-developmental disorders and recommend changes as needed.
5. Provide support, education, and advice to children with neuro-developmental disorders, their families, carers, and collaborating agencies such as CAMHS and Social Services.
6. Work closely with paediatricians and other neuro-developmental nurses, liaising with CAMHS in selected cases.
7. Enhance understanding, knowledge, and management of neurodevelopmental conditions.
