We are seeking a Trainer Coach - Plumbing & Gas to join our Apprenticeships team on a full- time, 36 hours per week, permanent, basis.

What You’ll Be Doing
The Apprenticeship Trainer Coach is part of the training and delivery team and is responsible for delivery, updating and development of apprenticeship standards and related training, monitoring and supporting apprentices and candidates to complete the training with positive outcomes.
This role includes visiting apprentices in their workplaces, carrying out workplace observations and progress reviews
You will:
Assessing Level 3 Plumbing & Gas apprentices in their workplaces, carrying out progress reviews, and portfolio workshops on campus.
Support the curriculum design for relevant apprenticeship standards and work related training within the curriculum area.
Support the development of the relevant planning and teaching resources including course outline; scheme of work; lesson plans; learning resources including on line
Coach apprentices in line with the apprenticeships standards, core skills and work related training.
Visit and actively support apprentices within the workplace supporting their progress.
Complete and maintain all apprenticeships reports, assessment forms, and other relevant documentation, as required.
What We’re Looking For
You will have:
1. Assessors award, Level 3 Plumbing & Gas qualifications.
2. Hold a L3 Assessor qualification
3. Possess a qualification in coaching or mentoring.
4. Have plumbing & gas industry experience
5. Experience working with a training provider teaching/assessing apprentices.
6. It is desirable that the successful candidate will hold a Teaching qualification.
7. Must hold Driving Licence due to the need to visit Apprentices on site.
In addition, you will demonstrate:
8. Experience in Further Education
9. The ability to differentiate effectively for mixed-ability groups
10. Experience tracking and monitoring learner progress using digital systems
11. Strong administrative and organisational skills
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. A commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing
