About the role
:
1. The Learning Support Worker will be supporting young people with Special educational need’s on a one-to-one basis or small group setting.
2. Building a strong rapport with the student to encourage them to attend and thrive in school
3. Following the guidance of the teacher but knowing the student well enough to deal with any conflicts
4. Working 8:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday
5. Working term time only for the full academic year
6. No previous experience or qualifications necessary, just a love for helping others!
About you:
7. A candidate who has a love and passion for supporting SEND children.
8. Able to obtain suitable references and a valid DBS check*
9. Experience working with children with challenging behaviours and backgrounds
10. A non-judgmental and caring approach.
