Hours: 10hrs over two days. Shift: Monday and Friday (5hrs per shift) Pay: £18.50ph Start: As soon as possible Job Description: To support me to attend Social activities as required Assisting me in participating in various social activities as per my instructions, including going to the cinema, bowling, playing pool going to places of interest, going shopping, attending classes, sporting activities, meeting friends, attending craft shows and events, including Markets. As my support worker your role is to provide me with the help and support that I need, in the community to attend and participate in social activities. You will need to be a car driver and have knowledge on using a computer to be able to carry out the support needed in the role effectively. And preferably a non smoker. You must have training or have experience in working with Autism. Willing to work at least one Saturday per Month (occasional Sunday) Must be flexible and able to cover shifts as required ( with notice) Applicantsmust be reliable, trustworthy, friendly, patient and understanding, willing to take the time to learn how to effectively best offer support. You will need: An Enhanced DBS certificate, Public Liability insurance, Be registered with HMRC, Be able to supply me with a monthly invoice.
