A leading manufacturing and engineering business working across structural, rail, and automotive industries. With a reputation for quality and long-term customer partnerships, they are now looking for a dedicated Fabrication Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Fabrication Inspector Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabrication Inspector with a background in welding. You'll be responsible for the visual inspection of welds, ensuring compliance with drawings, standards, and specifications. Working closely with the welding and production teams, you'll help maintain the highest levels of quality and safety across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out visual inspections of welds to industry standards
Verify compliance with welding procedures, project drawings, and specifications
Record and maintain inspection reports accurately
Support welding teams by communicating quality expectations and feedback
Monitor and report on weld quality during fabrication and/or installation
Uphold Health & Safety standards at all timesThe Candidate:
Previous experience in quality inspection, ideally within welding and fabrication
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality
Strong communication and teamworking skillsLicence/Certification Required:
CSWIP or Visual Inspection QualificationApply:
