Night Forklift Driver – £14.89 per hour – Full Time
Pertemps is currently recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers to join a busy and well-established logistics operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals seeking long-term employment with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent work. The role involves working full-time hours on a night shift schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, with a fixed shift time of 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM. You will be part of a dynamic warehouse team focused on efficient goods handling and maintaining high operational standards.
Shift Pattern:
1. Tuesday to Saturday
2. Start time: 1:00 AM
3. Finish time: 10:00 AM
4. Full-time hours (45 hours per week
Pay Rate:
5. £14.89 per hour
6. Weekly/Monthly pay via Pertemps
Job Responsibilities:
7. Operating a forklift truck (counterbalance or reach) to safely load and unload goods
8. Moving stock around the warehouse and yard in line with company procedures
9. Supporting inbound and outbound logistics operations
10. Maintaining high levels of health and safety and housekeeping
11. Working closely with warehouse supervisors and other team members
12. Carrying out basic equipment checks and reporting any defects
13. Completing general warehouse duties as required during quieter periods
Requirements:
14. Valid and in-date forklift license (Counterbalance or Reach)
15. Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or logistics setting
16. Ability to work night/early morning shifts reliably and consistently
17. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
18. Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
19. Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions accurate
