I am launching a premium, playful women's sleepwear brand called RUMETTO and am looking for an experienced surface pattern / textile designer to create seamless repeat prints for apparel.
This is not a one-off logo or graphic job - I am looking to build an ongoing relationship with the right designer.
About the Brand:
RUMETTO feels:
• confident
• slightly bold
• playful but not childish
• minimal yet colourful
• elevated feminine energy
The collection theme is Mediterranean-inspired objects. Icons must be illustrated in their natural/true-to-life colours while still feeling cohesive and refined as a group. Colour harmony is important - although icons are true to life, the overall palette must feel cohesive and intentional. Colour saturation to be controlled and cohesive - natural but slightly muted tones rather than bright primary colours.
I am not looking for:
• flat cartoon styles
• overly textured watercolor
• clipart-style graphics
• busy sticker-pack aesthetics
I am looking for:
• refined illustrated icons
• clean lines with subtle depth
• crisp artwork suitable for fabric printing
• balanced spacing and composition
• small-scale seamless repeat suitable for apparel
Deliverables Required:
• Seamless repeat tile suitable for textile printing
• Vector files (AI / EPS)
• High-resolution export (300dpi at final scale)
• Editable layered files
• Colour palette references included
Please only apply if you:
• Have experience designing textile or surface repeat patterns
• Understand scaling for apparel printing
• Can demonstrate previous fabric/apparel work
• Are comfortable designing for fashion brands
Please send:
• Examples of relevant textile/surface pattern work (apparel preferred)
• Your rate per pattern
• Revision policy
• Turnaround time
I will begin with 1 pattern as a test project, with potential for additional patterns if we are a good fit.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Contract duration of less than 1 month.
