Electrical Supervisor – Manufacturing

Salary: Circa £48,000 + enhanced call-out payments
Monday to Friday (Days) | 1 in 4 weeks on call
The Role
As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4 Maintenance Electrical Engineers, while remaining actively involved in day-to-day maintenance activities. This is a split role, combining technical hands-on work with people management and coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising and supporting a team of Electrical Maintenance Engineers
* Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment
* Allocating work, setting priorities, and ensuring maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently
* Supporting continuous improvement and site development projects
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site standards
* Participating in the on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks)
About You:
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:
* A strong background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Previous supervisory or team-lead experience (or ready to step up)
* Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* A hands-on, proactive approach with strong communication skills
